Hi Steve. When I see my daily visitor from Germany, I know it’s you. I have been posting Main Avenue updates—just do a BF search (the little box on the top) for “Main Avenue.”
The best I can do is to report the situation on Main Ave., but it is rare that anyone on the inside shares information with the public. A lot of what happens in OG occurs behind a thick smokescreen. For example the CMA is chronically silent about its inner workings and plans. They never say anything about their role at the North End.
So Blogfinger reports what it can, but none of the organized players in town share much of anything with the citizens, and that includes the Township government, the CMA, WAVE, Chamber, HPC, Historical Society, or OGU. They are secret societies. And, of course, there are the purveyors of distortions and hidden agendas—–the OGHOA (We just wrote them off at BF)
The internet & social media, my friend. Take a look at the once charming downtown of Spring Lake—-all real estate offices & vacant space now.
Will the flower shop be missed — hi prices and commercial intrusion on public sidewalks.

””Oh no…!!! That is sad news. The flower shop was always a “go to” place… for many reasons. Am wondering in general what is happening on Main Street. (post-fire) Could we have an update Paul…??? What will O.G.´s main thoroughfare hold in store for us this summer…???
