Here she is in her natural habitat:
Editor’s note: John Higley said, “Liked your photo of the decorated manatee. Here’s one in its natural NJ habitat, in Monroe Township, Middlesex County. From my travels in NJ. I have quite a collection of photos of lawn statuary (jockeys, hoboes, etc) and this guy”
manatee!
Manatees are mammals that live around the world in rivers and bays. They are found in southwest Florida and Georgia. They are herbivores and they produce “enormous amounts of gas” (Wikipedia) They also have a weight problem weighing on average 1000 pounds. Manatees enjoy dressing up for Easter and other holidays. They also can be seen bar hopping on Saturday nights (thus the Hank Williams song.)
