Marlee Roberts, the multi-talented NYU actress, director, film-maker, producer and singer, and who is best known in Ocean Grove for her invaluable help in co-producing and performing in the two Blogfinger Film Festivals (2012 and 2013), has sent us a Christmas email, and I must post it on Blogfinger right now.
As you may recall, Marlee completed a full length movie as director, and she continues to advance in her career. We missed seeing her this past year in OG.
Here is a part of her email today:
“The past year has been an incredible one! From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for being a part of the journey that was my 2014.
“My personal and professional growth could have not swelled without your love and support. There have been an incredible amount of emotions through the year; the loss of a great friend, the completion of my education, a personal project coming to an end… But as I’ve closed a chapter of my life, I’ve begun a new one. Moving to a new city, I was welcomed by new friends. Working in a new country, I was welcomed by new co-workers. Graduating college and stepping into the “real world”, I was supported by my close friends and family, however many miles apart they may have been.”
Thank you so much.
Marlee
