LETTER TO THE EDITOR:

I want to report car break-ins on July 19, 2014.   At  midnight  I observed 2 males pulling on car doors, getting into one of them, rummaging thru, getting out of the car, and pulling on other car doors setting off alarms as they walked up the street.

I called the police, and 5 police cars came to investigate. They did a great and thorough job investigating.

The strange thing, is I watched these guys,  and they saw me on my porch, as they blatantly pulled on car doors right in front if me. I was nervous to call the police be cause they know where I live. But I called anyway. I am ngry that this is happening , but my car, in the past,  has also been ransacked.

This happened at the west end of Abbott Ave.  Just thought evryone should lock their cars
