Stephen is a bona fide New Yorker, having been born there, but he spent his youth in New Jersey. However, he’s been a Manhattanite for years.  Yorkville is   a new neighborhood for him, and he loves the local parks, take-out all hours of the day and night, and walking his dog Pooja,  not far from where he was born at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

Stephen Goldfinger, a writer, is a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts  (NYU.)  He has been discovering his inner photographer lately, so we have asked him to document the street life in the Big Apple as part of our NYC street photos series.

He and Pooja were featured recently on a NYC web site called ” Dogs in  New York*.”   Dogs in NY link  (So, our son is upstaged by a dog;  but not for long, once the girls of Central Park on the upper east side discover him.)

He became a full time Grover a few years ago. Some of you in town with dogs probably know him.
