Addendum: Yes, it is true—that is my photo. So many people, perhaps thousands, have asked for me to post my photo. Yet some of you, finding some sort of humor in the process (yes, funny stuff indeed) did figure it out. TCos said I had long arms. What??
But Barbara said I was Dr. Whilden. Barb—do I look like a dentist? Actually I sort of envy Dr.Whilden because he gets to say things that I have never said to anyone like “I’m going to numb you now” or “The gurgling will stop when I find my sucker” or my favorite, “You may spit now.”
So Charlotte, ironically, wins. She is a neighbor whom I actually like, even though she has tormented me on BF by calling my grassy strip “Prissy.” My grassy strip is currently in sad shape, but I will prove her wrong in June when my strip will look, not like suburbia, but like a fine golf course (well actually a putting green for those dang squirrels.) Charlotte, if you can break away from your botanical garden, to see Rich, the Pirate in Chief at Smuggler’s Cove, you will receive a prize fit for a pirate—an eye patch or a peg leg perhaps.

Ooooooops. Always read the directions first: It’s Paul Goldfinger, whose prose is rarely flowery, but whose grass strip always makes me think of Bill Cullen’s crew cut!
