Remember back in March when the Township discovered that the house under construction at 65 Abbott Avenue didn’t conform to approved plans? It turned out that the porch and the entire foundation were higher than the Township had allowed, which meant the builders would have to lower the foundation even though the house had essentially been built.

The brick front pillars have been severed so the height of the bottom parts can be reduced.
They’re doing that now. Ted Aanensen shot these photos of the house jacked up off its foundation. When the foundation is cut to its approved height, the house can be lowered back down on top of it. Problem solved. — CL
