The girl on the left in “Three Graces, Ocean Grove, New Jersey” is me! I remember that day too. It was 10 years ago in my first “Ocean Grove Children’s Show”, “Sleeping Beauty”, when I was 8-years old
Hey Blogfinger,
I’m cold just looking at those photos. Great job documenting the storm.
Greetings from Florida; it’s a very frosty 50 here.
I love your photo “Three Graces, Ocean Grove, New Jersey.” The three “Graces” are my niece Taylor, a very good friend’s daughter Ashley & my daughter Samantha. I first saw this photo on display in The OG Bake Shoppe and re-found it a second time this morning while viewing your OG Blizzard Blog.
Are there any snow pictures available of ocean grove?
News and Such on Main Avenue carries Paul’s photos (photo cards with matching envelopes)–snow scenes are in stock in the winter. If large sizes are desired, it may be possible to special order most of the color shots on the blog. Some black and whites prints are available for sale. Inquiries? Email pg1425@verizon.net
I like the three graces. The one on the right side of the three is so cute
Dr Goldfinger…thanks again for your hospitality. I believe my son really enjoyed seeing the fish.
The blog is interesting. I wish you the very best. Please say hello if you see us around town.

Paul, re “Eileen, Coney Island, c1962.”
“What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” Yeah! I grew up going to Coney Island and a lot of what happened under that boardwalk, was usually talked about a lot. But I am sure not by you.
Ken: Technically speaking , she was not exactly under the boardwalk–only at the margin. She never saw what I and my cousin Chuck saw there, including the Coney Island whitefish.
Beautiful photography. You really know how to capture an image and make it come alive!
I have stumbled upon these images when trying to see what happened to Ocean Grove during Sandy. I am very moved by these. I was an O Grove goer for several years, til I moved to Delaware Beaches, but my heart still belongs to O Grove. I think these are so lovely — especially the light around the snowy square. All of them moved me and filled me with many different emotions.
I,like Lisa, have also stumbled upon these photos. They are absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing. I never follow blogs, but I am hooked on yours.
Ditto!
Paul,
Such a marvelous set of photos, certainly worthy of an exhibition for greater public viewing.
BTW The PIZZA sign on the left in your 3rd photo, Paris, left bank, surely identifies the place where I found true Italian (think Naples) pizza in Paris. The house specialty was with an egg, yoke unbroken, in the middle.

Loved your pictures Dr. Goldfinger. I think of you often. I emailed you on face book. Would love to here from you
Always loved your pictures; still have the ones you gave me: the little girl on the square who reminded me of my little sister, the Eiffel tower, Washington Square, the gondola in Italy.
So many years have gone by I think of you and, Eileen at times and, your boys. Still have the first cook boo—glad your still doing good.
Hugs to you both SamIm.

Do you have or know where I can view photos of the old wooden nursing home that sat between Cookman and Clark Avenues?
Try the HSOG.
LOVE TOUR PHOTOS; REALLY ENJOYED THEM
Hi you gave me your card at the Lakes Park Farmers Market when you were buying fish. What beautiful photographs!
