Music From the Movies. “Miller’s Crossing.”

August 26, 2012 by Blogfinger

Miller’s Crossing is a gangster film released in 1990 by the Coen Brothers. It was not a big hit, but it has done well in DVD sales and rentals. It was selected by Time as one of the 100 best films and also as one of the ten best gangster movies. It features Irish thugs and politicians.

Frank Patterson was one of the most famous Irish tenors. He sang “Danny Boy” for this movie.   —PG
