Broadway construction notes

August 24, 2012 by Blogfinger

The length of Broadway, both northbound and southbound, are open to traffic now — but only for a time.

Leanne Hoffmann, Neptune’s director of engineering and planning, reports that the intersection of Broadway and Central Avenue will be closed to traffic once again as soon as work begins on a new box culvert to be installed at that intersection. The new structure is on order.

In addition, the one block of Central Avenue between Cookman and Broadway — which is closed now — will remain closed until the culvert installation is done.
